Format This course is based online or in the classroom with the exam taking place in the classroom. The exam SRC exams consist of a written theory exam and assessment in the practical use of marine VHF radios The exam fee is payable to the RYA. Most candidates are required to complete an RYA SRC course prior to taking the exam, therefore the majority of exams take place at the end of the course.
