RYA Intermediate Powerboat Course

Service Description

One of the best RYA courses. allowing students to plan and execute a passage to a different port. The next level up from Level 2, the Intermediate Powerboat Course is more advanced in boat handling, chartwork and seatime. Close quarter training is of a higher standard and this will build your confidence in takin a vessel in to more challenging situations. You will prepare a passage from Cardiff to another port and execute this under expert guidance and support from your instructor. This course is an essential progression towards your Advanced Level and will equip you with more advanced skills. Taking the Day Skipper Theory beforehand and gaining the VHF Radio Licence will enhance your enjoyment and experience of the Intermediate Course and these are strongly recommended prior to attending this course.
