Familiarisation sessions on your own boat, at your pace. You may have just bought your dream boat and are afraid of taking the vessel out. You may have no experience at all or some knowledge but require a bit of confidence working on a new and different vessel. You need tuition on your own vessel, to help you overcome your fears in a relaxed and informative environment. Learn about how to prepare to go to sea, learn the basics of leaving and returning to your mooring, manoeuvring, approaching a pick up buoy, coming alongside, and turning in a confined space. Learn how to hoist sails, and get your vessel moving. Learn how to lock out of the marina and barrage and take a passage on the Bristol Channel. Learn how to help yourself and others in an emergency.
