Familiarisation sessions on your own boat, at your pace. You may have just bought your first Powerboat or Motor Cruiser and you are unsure of how to find your way around the vessel. You may be coming back to boating after a break away from the sport and need some extra confidence. You may have upgraded to a larger vessel and need some assistance in familiarising yourself with the larger size. Instructor Meuryn Hughes has over 30 years experience in power driven vessels and is very experienced in working with clients' needs and requirements. Under expert tuition and guidance, you will learn how to undertake daily engine checks and prepare for sea. You will learn how to leave your berth and exit the marina. You will learn how to manoeuvre your vessel in close quarters and exit the barrage (if you are based in Cardiff). You will lern how to retrieve a person from the water, and plan and execute a short passage. And more...
